Centre of Humanitarian Aid
The Centre provides humanitarian aid to pregnant women in an emergency, to those in need of help and also multi-children families. It was opened on June, 6, 2017. According to specialists’ reviews, only in Moscow there’re more than 1,000 pregnant women and young mothers in true emergency because of no help from the father of their child and relatives or for any other reasons. Being in a state of despair, many of them agree to abortion or leave the baby in maternity wards. But if a mother is supported at her hard times, such a tragedy can be averted.
The Centre of Humanitarian Aid works like an ordinary shop. The only difference is that all its goods are handed out for free. The showroom has a choice of women’s and children’s clothes, sets for maternity hospital discharge, diapers, baby cosmetics, creams, shampoos, toys. The Centre creates a welcoming atmosphere so that women felt that they’re visitors rather than petitioners.
