Helping those who are ill and/or disabled

Those who are under our care are lonely patients in hospitals, disabled adults who live in state psychoneurological nursing homes, severely ill people who are unable to pay for a nurse and/or in-home care.
  • Palliative care service for those with HIV consists of sisters of charity and volunteers who look after patients in the Moscow Infectious Diseases Hospital 2. The majority of those who are HIV and AIDS in-patients are young people aged about 30.

  • The caregivers Service consists of more than 60 sisters of charity. Those whore under their care are people who require attention for many hours and, at times, round the clock. Theyre ill and lonely elderly people, those who have progressing diseases, patients after grave traumas.

  • The ALS Moscow Support Centre operates and is based in the Central Clinical Hospital named after St Alexey. We help those with ALS and their relatives, both medically and socially.
